I am honored and humbled to serve as your Police Chief. Massillon is a wonderful community, and I am proud to be a small part of such a special place. Throughout my 20 year career at the Massillon Police Department, it has been a pleasure to work with the many fine officers who proudly put on the uniform and represent law enforcement in our city.

I would like you to know that your department is on the move, adapting to change in leadership and direction. I am thankful for the support that Mayor Cicchinelli, Director Loudiana, and City Council has given to the police department during this transitional period. I also very much appreciate the professional and healthy relationship that is being established internally within our department, between management and the union. This must continue so that we can accomplish great things collectively and achieve positive change, which is in the best interest of us all. I would also like to thank the citizens of Massillon for all of your support and goodwill. Everything that you do in support of your police department is greatly appreciated, and I say thank you.

This website is in its infancy, like many of the other changes being implemented, but be assured, there is a viable plan to lead the Massillon Police Department to the forefront of the law enforcement community. We are addressing every facet of our operation. It is a process, and it will take some time, but progress is being made. We have begun to make physical changes within the department, policy changes, training is a priority, technology upgrades, and most importantly personnel concerns are addressed without unnecessary delay. We will continue to explore different ways to better communicate with you and to become more accessible to our citizens.
