H1N1 vaccinations can be given by appointment likely on Wednesdays or Fridays. Thursday evening appointments are possible if necessary.

TB TESTING

Fee $10.00
Each Tuesday from 8:45 - 10:00 a.m.
Mantoux skin testing is offered to persons needing proof of a negative Tb test for schooling, for their place of employment, or for Head Start requirements. Those with a positive test are referred for x-rays.

IMMUNIZATION NEWS

The Massillon Health Department would like to remind parents that Ohio Law now requires all incoming kindergarten and first grade students to have a second dose of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR), Varivax (Chicken Pox), and the Hepatitis B series in addition to the DTaP and polio requirements. These must be received prior to school beginning.

The Massillon Health Department administers these vaccines by appointment for City residents or students attending City schools. To make an appointment for these clinics, please call (330) 830-1713 between the hours of 8:30 - 4:30 , Monday through Friday. The Health Department is located in the Medical Arts Building, 845 - 8th St. NE, Suite 8, Massillon, OH, 44646, (Entrance on north side.).
