ORDINANCE NO. 139 – 2014             BY:  RULES & COURTS COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Law of the City of Massillon, Ohio, to renew a one (1) year contract with the Stark County Public Defender’s Office, for the purpose of providing representation for indigent defendants that are charged under City Ordinances, and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 140 – 2014             BY:  STREETS, HIGHWAYS & TRAFFIC COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE to accept the dedication of road right of way areas located at 2550 University Drive S.E., and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 141 – 2014             BY:  FINANCE COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE making certain appropriations from the unappropriated balance of the 1240 Veterans Park/Duncan Plaza Fund and to reduce the appropriation of the 1342 OPWC Fund, for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency.

AN ORDINANCE making certain appropriations from the unappropriated balance of the 1100 General Fund, for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 143 – 2014             BY:  FINANCE COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE making certain appropriations from the unappropriated balance of the 2105 Stormwater Utility Fund and the 1414 Collection System Improvement Fund for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency.

AN ORDINANCE making certain appropriations from the unappropriated balance of the 1206 Municipal Motor Vehicle License Plate Fund, for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 145 – 2014             BY:  ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety of the city of Massillon, Ohio, to enter into a contract upon approval of the Board of Control with I. Kruger Inc. for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project, and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 146 – 2014             BY:  ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety of the City of Massillon, Ohio, to enter into a contract upon approval of the Board of Control with Pentair Flow Technologies, LLC DBA Fairbanks Nijhuis (hereinafter “Pentair”) for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project, and declaring an emergency.

RESOLUTION NO. 10 – 2014             BY:  FINANCE COMMITTEE

A RESOLUTION accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor by October 31, 2014.

ORDINANCE NO. 130 – 2014             BY:  ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Public Service and Safety of the City of Massillon, Ohio, to advertise for and received sealed bids and enter into contract with the lowest and best bidder, upon the approval of the Board of Control, for the Southway Sanitary Sewer Extension Project, and declaring an emergency.

15.  SECOND READING ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

ORDINANCE NO. 131 – 2014             BY:  PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE at the request of the Massillon Recreation Board to revert The Legends of Massillon Golf Course from 27 to 18 holes.  The Board voted to revert back to the Original or as close to the original 18 as possible” for the City of Massillon, Ohio, and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 136 – 2014             BY:  FINANCE COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE making certain appropriations from the unappropriated balance of the 1100 General Fund, for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency.
         
ORDINANCE NO. 137 – 2014             BY:  FINANCE COMMITTEE

AN ORDINANCE amending Section 2(D) OCCUPATION LIST OF CLASS TITLES – MUNICIPAL COURT of Ordinance No. 127-1997 by repealing Section 2(D) OCCUPATION LIST OF CLASS TITLES – MUNICIPAL COURT, and enacting a new Section 2(D) OCCUPATION LIST OF CLASS TITLES – MUNICIPAL COURT, in the City of Massillon, Ohio, and declaring an emergency.

ORDINANCE NO. 138 – 2014             BY:  HEALTH, WELFARE AND BLDG. REGS.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor of the city of Massillon, Ohio, to enter into a two (2) year rental agreement with the St. James AME Zion Church Life Center for office space to be used by the Massillon City Health Department, and declaring an emergency.
